21 Apr Cape Cod Remodel Project in Tarzana, CA
One thing we love most about our job is when a client turns into a long term friend. That is the case with this remodel in the Tarzana area.
The overall design and theme of this home was centered around the kitchen. To our clients, choosing the color of the kitchen was easy. They loved our white kitchen display in our Encino, CA showroom and even when they looked at other ideas, they always gravitated back towards the timeless yet current feel of white. Designer, Ernesto Sepulveda, knows that in a traditional white kitchen you have to add texture. He achieved that by using a hand torched technique to an absolute black granite and a marble mosaic from Walker Zanger, which added not only texture, but movement. He incorporated Thermador kitchen appliances and a blue grey paint color was used on the walls and ceiling to complement this kitchen and make these custom Wood-Mode cabinets really stand out.
In the master bath Ernesto used a richly veined Paonazzo marble in the shower and a Walker Zanger Calacata tile for the floor. The homeowner had a need for extra storage and a large vanity that Ernesto custom designed for them.
